Terms of Service

Last updated: August 22, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of InterviewSurge, a service operated by Nuvortex LLC, doing business as InterviewSurge (“InterviewSurge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

InterviewSurge is a job-search service. We sell one package. There are no tiers and no free job board. A package buys 600 job packages, and for every one of them we do the same four things:

  • Find a job and screen it against the criteria you set — role, level, location, salary floor, and your exclusion lists.
  • Tailor your CV to that specific job.
  • Find the recruiter or hiring contact for it, with their email and LinkedIn profile where we can find them.
  • Draft your outreach message, for you to read, edit, and send.

A package also includes a tracker dashboard showing every role and its status, a daily summary email, and Instant CV — where you bring us a job link yourself and get the same treatment on demand. Instant CV job packages are counted against your package like any other. You may pause and resume whenever your search does; a paused account prepares nothing and counts nothing against your package.

The features and current pricing are described on our pricing page. We may change, add, or remove features over time. Before we submit any application on your behalf you also accept a separate Application & Mailbox Authorization and Consent Agreement, which governs how we act as your agent and access your job-search mailbox; in case of conflict on those subjects, that agreement controls.

What you are buying: a package, not a subscription

This is the part most likely to differ from what you expect, so it is stated plainly:

  • A package is a one-time purchase. It does not renew. We do not store a recurring charge against your payment method, we will not bill you again automatically, and there is no subscription for you to cancel.
  • A package is 600 job packages, and it stops there. When you reach 600, we stop. There is no overage, no automatic top-up, and no additional invoice. To continue, you buy another package.
  • A package is valid for 12 months from the date you buy it. Any part of the allowance you have not used when those 12 months end lapses, and a new package must be bought to continue.
  • Pausing does not extend the 12 months. You may pause and resume as often as you like, and while paused we prepare nothing and count nothing against your allowance — but the 12-month window runs from your purchase date regardless of how much of it you spend paused.

What counts as one of your 600. A job package is counted when you unlock it — the moment you open the tailored CV and the hiring contact we prepared for that job. Before you unlock it you can already see the job, our analysis of it and how it matches what you asked for, so unlocking is a decision you make with the facts in front of you. It is counted whether or not we are the ones who submit the application: some employers require it to come from your own account, and in those cases we hand you the finished package instead.

Once unlocked, a job package is not refundable — with one exception. If we cannot deliver it because the job posting closed before we were able to apply, the package is returned to your balance automatically and we will tell you. This does not extend your one-year window.

This works because we move quickly: we only surface jobs posted in the last 24 hours, and we aim to submit within 48 hours of you delegating. Postings close fast, so delegating promptly is what makes the application possible at all. A posting that closes because it was not delegated to us in time is not returned.

Nothing else is counted. A job we prepare that you never unlock costs you nothing and stays on your tracker. A job you reject costs you nothing, whenever you reject it. And if we could not produce a CV genuinely tailored to the job, nothing is counted: you received nothing, so you are charged nothing.

Free trial

Where we offer you a free trial, it runs for 14 days and covers up to 100 job packages, whichever comes first. A trial is free — we take no payment details to start one and it does not convert into a purchase by itself. Trial job packages receive the same preparation described above.

Free trials are one per person. We may decline or hold a trial where the details given match someone who has already taken one, and we may ask you to confirm your identity before granting it.

Who submits your applications

Every job package is prepared the same way. What varies is who presses submit.

  • We submit it for you where the employer’s application route allows a third party to do so and you have given us your consent.
  • You submit it yourself where the route requires your own logged-in account and we therefore cannot. LinkedIn Easy Apply is the clearest example. These arrive in your dashboard fully prepared, for you to send.

We do not tell you what proportion will fall into each group, because we do not measure it and it depends on where the jobs matching your criteria happen to be posted. It may be a large share. We would rather say that than give you a number we cannot stand behind.

You may decline the submission service entirely and use the service for everything else — the screened jobs, the tailored CVs, the recruiter contacts, the drafted outreach, and the tracker. The price is the same, because the work we do for each application is the same.

We fulfill applications using a combination of automated tools and trained human specialists, and we select the method we believe is most effective for each application and platform. We rely on the answers you give us and do not represent that you personally completed or submitted any individual application.

We do not apply on your behalf in Australia

If you are in Australia, we do not submit applications on your behalf. Australian job-board terms prohibit one party from applying to a job on another party’s behalf, and we honour that rather than work around it.

Everything else is unchanged: we find and screen jobs, tailor your CV to each one, find the recruiter contact, draft your outreach, and track it all for you. You press submit on every application. The price is the same.

Your consent, before we act

We do not submit any application on your behalf until you have given us consent to do so. That consent is given separately from these Terms, by accepting the Application & Mailbox Authorization and Consent Agreement in your dashboard, and we record when you gave it. Until you do, every application we prepare arrives ready for you to send yourself.

Consent is also per job. You approve each role individually before we act on it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time — from your dashboard or by emailing us. Withdrawing it stops us submitting anything further on your behalf; it does not stop us preparing applications for you to send.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Please provide truthful, current information, and maintain a single account.

Payment

A package is charged once, through Stripe, at the price shown on our pricing page at the time you buy it. There is no recurring charge and no automatic renewal. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Where a promotional price or code applies, the terms of that promotion govern the discount, and a promotional price is not a commitment to offer the same price later.

If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@interviewsurge.com and we will work with you in good faith.

Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Provide false information, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your identity or qualifications.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
  • Use the service to send spam, harass recruiters, or otherwise abuse the outreach features.

Acting on your behalf

Where you have given us consent, you authorize us to act on your behalf as your limited agent, using the information and credentials you provide, including interacting with third-party services such as applicant tracking systems and employer career sites. You are responsible for the truth and accuracy of the information you supply. Third-party platforms maintain their own terms of service; your authorization to us does not modify those third-party terms.

Platform restrictions. Some application platforms restrict or prohibit automated or third-party submissions. Where a platform applies such restrictions, an application may be rejected or filtered, or an account may be limited by that platform. We monitor for this and route affected applications through alternative methods, including preparing them for you to send yourself, but we cannot guarantee any platform’s acceptance of any application.

Voluntary self-identification and your job-search mailbox

Some applications ask voluntary questions about who you are — for example gender, race or ethnicity, veteran status, or pronouns. Answering them is always optional and you decide. You may give us your answers in your dashboard; if you do, we enter exactly the answer you gave, word for word. We never guess and never work an answer out from your name, your photo, your CV, your school, your address, or anything a computer produced. Anything you leave at “prefer not to say” we answer that way, or leave blank.

Keeping your answers and sending them to employers are two separate permissions, and both start switched off. We use your answers for one purpose only — filling the matching voluntary question on an application you asked us to send — never for matching, ranking, analytics, advertising, profiling, or training models, and we never sell them. You may edit or withdraw any answer at any time in your dashboard, as easily as you gave it; withdrawal applies to applications we send afterwards and cannot recall one already sent. Declining is not a condition of the service, and we make no claim that answering helps or hurts your chances.

Two questions we always decline, and we are telling you so. We do not collect disability status, and we do not collect community or affinity group membership — that list includes disability and neurodiversity options, so it carries the same information. On every application we select “I do not wish to answer” for both. If you would like us to answer them, tell us and we will build it.

Where you use a job-search mailbox with the service, our access to it is limited to reading and labelling messages so we can surface what needs your attention, retrieve the one-time codes that application platforms send during an application, and record confirmation that an application was submitted — and to placing outreach drafts in your mailbox for you to review and send. We do not send email from your mailbox on your behalf. Where this access is provided through Google APIs, it adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our Privacy Policy describes all of this in detail and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

No guarantee of outcomes

InterviewSurge provides inputs to your job search — prepared and submitted applications, tailored CVs, drafted outreach, and recruiter contacts. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, or any particular outcome. Hiring depends on factors outside our control, including role fit, market conditions, and your own interview performance. Any examples, scores, or timelines we present are illustrative and are not promises of results.

Work authorization and eligibility

The roles we surface, curate, and recommend are drawn from third-party job postings and matched to the criteria you provide. We do not verify, and do not guarantee, that any role we surface or curate matches your visa, citizenship, or work-authorization requirements, or that an employer will sponsor or accept your particular work authorization. Eligibility to work in a given role or location — including any sponsorship, residency, or right-to-work requirement — is determined solely by the employer and applicable law. You are responsible for confirming that you are eligible for a role before applying to or accepting it.

Intellectual property

The service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Nuvortex LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you provide, such as your CV, and you grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate and provide the service to you.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InterviewSurge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. To the extent we are found liable, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure for us or other users. If your account ends for any reason, any unused part of your package allowance ends with it, subject to the refund position above. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will survive.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington. Nothing in these Terms waives any non-waivable right or protection afforded to you under the consumer-protection or privacy laws of your state of residence.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
